Biography
Julia Butterfly Hill is an Environmental Activist, NGO Director from United States
In 1997 Julia climbed up an ancient Redwood to save it from being felled. She stayed in the tree for over two years before the timber company agreed not to cut it down (nor any of the trees immediately surrounding it). Julia has since been involved in environmental advocacy and has worked tirelessly in support of indigenous peoples around the world.
